COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
DOUBLE BOILER
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this
Commercial Item Description (CID) as replacement for CID A-A-552
which has been canceled.
1. SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Scope. This commercial item description covers aluminum double boilers.
1.2 Classification. The double boilers shall be of the following sizes.
Size 1- 4 quart inner pan (3.0 liters)
Size 2- 6 quart inner pan (5.7 liters)
Size 3- 11 quart inner pan (10.4 liters)
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 The documents referenced in this commercial item description shall be the issues in effect on the date of the invitation for bids or request for proposals unless otherwise specified. These documents form a part of this commercial item description to the extent specified. In the event of a conflict between this commercial item description and a document referenced herein, this commercial item description shall take precedence.
