3. Body thickness may be verified at random points within the bowl except for the rim and within 1/4 inch of the rim.
4. Handle thickness may be verified at random points along the handle except for the curved portion.
3.5 Workmanship. The ladles shall be clean and free from dirt, rough or sharp edges, slivers, burrs, deep scratches, tool marks, or other defects which may affect appearance ox serviceability. The finished ladles shall not be fractured, buckled, dented, punctured or otherwise malformed or damaged. Soldered joints shall be as smooth as the metals joined, free from pinholes, cracks, flux deposits or irregularities.
3.6 Standard compliance. The ladles shall comply with the requirements of NSF International Criteria C-2 or Standard No. 2.
