COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
BRUSHES, GREASE, COOKING AND BAKING
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description in preference to MIL-B-1995, for all federal agencies.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This commercial item description covers grease brushes, for cooking and baking.
1.2 Classification. The grease brushes shall be in the following sizes (see 5.2):
Size 1 – 1-1/2 inches wide
Size 2 – 3 inches wide
2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS
2.1 Design and construction. The grease brush shall be flat, and contain bristles that are enclosed in a ferrule which is attached to the handle, and shall conform to the following dimensions:
